KiddyKare are currently recruiting for a third in charge to join an already established Nursery and Forest school.
The nursery use a blended approach, using Montessori and forest school teachings.

What we need from you:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 childcare Qualification.
  • Previous experience either managing a room or team within a nursery.
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS.
  • Thorough knowledge of Safeguarding procedures.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
Your duties as a Third in Charge:
&#$2022; Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times
&#$2022; Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
&#$2022;Assist management by ensuring that company policies and procedures are embedded, applied, and adhered to by all.
&#$2022; Assist in reporting of any child safeguarding or protection matters, including allegations and serious accidents/ injuries to management
&#$2022; Check that risk assessments are conducted regularly and thoroughly, and all health and safety matters are reported
&#$2022; Ensure care plans are thorough and up-to-date for children with health conditions, and reviewed regularly
&#$2022; Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
&#$2022; Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
&#$2022; Promote respect and credibility for this position by leading as a role model with impartiality and consistency
&#$2022; Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
