About the Role As Assistant Nursery Manager, you’ll support the running of the nursery, step into the Manager role when needed, and help ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safety. You’ll also have the opportunity to support other settings within the group when required.
What You’ll Do
Act as a role model for best practice in Early Years and ensure EYFS standards are met consistently.
Engage with children, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing.
Support staff recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development.
Manage day-to-day staff matters, including appraisals, supervisions, and attendance.
Assist with nursery budgets, invoicing, and occupancy management.
Promote health, safety, and safeguarding across the nursery.
Support marketing, enrolment, and outreach to prospective parents.
What We’re Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
Experience in a supervisory or management role within a nursery.
Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education.
