KiddyKare are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a brand-new nursery opening in Maidenhead. This exciting new 100-place setting is seeking an ambitious, energetic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to help shape and develop the nursery from the very beginning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior practitioner or Deputy Manager ready to take the next step within a larger setting, where you will have real autonomy and influence in creating an exceptional environment for children, families and staff.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and early years education, with children always at the centre of everything they do.

What we are looking for:

• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and education for children
• A full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Effective organisational and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience within a nursery leadership role

The role will involve:

• A 50% room-based and 50% supernumerary role
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues to encourage professional development and teamwork
• Assisting with the delivery of engaging educational programmes in line with the EYFS
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure excellent communication and involvement
• Supporting the operational side of the nursery including rotas, staffing deployment, nursery systems and funding processes
• Working alongside the Nursery Manager to promote colleague wellbeing, engagement and a positive workplace culture
