We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Room Leader to join a leading nursery provider. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and inspire a team in a nurturing, educational environment, where you will make a significant impact on young children’s development.

About the Role:
As a Room Leader, you will oversee the delivery of age-appropriate activities and curriculum, ensuring the children in your care receive a stimulating, supportive, and inclusive learning experience. You will guide and support a team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and learning are achieved across the nursery. Your leadership will foster a positive environment for both the children and your team, ensuring that every child’s progress is tracked and communicated with parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of educational activities, tailored to the children’s age and developmental stage.
  • Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
  • Ensure children’s development and wellbeing are nurtured, tracking their progress and sharing updates with parents.
  • Take on the role of Key Person, attending to the holistic development and personal care needs of the children in your care.
  • Uphold health and safety standards to maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for all.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Manager, or Senior Practitioner).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about supporting children’s development and building positive relationships with families.
