All our nannies have been screened and carefully selected

We only ever accept nanny applicants who have met us in person and have completed our candidate selection interview.

We absolutely do not rely on any video calling service, such as Skype, for any part of our interviews with prospective nannies.

DBS police check with update service

We insist that all of our nannies have a valid and recent DBS Enhanced Disclosure with the update service or are willing to apply for a DBS check.

Identity Verification

We only ever accept originals of official documents as verification.

Our nanny screening process

During our nanny interview process each nanny is screened and their suitability assessed for the specific role. We discuss appropriate skills and experience as well as their interests and hobbies to build a picture of the Nanny.

During the interview we discuss work history, qualifications, and DBS Police Check status. We only ever accept originals of official documents as verification.

Our suitable nanny agency checks include:

Minimum two years of childcare experience
Minimum of two fully checkable references from previous employers
Minimum of two proofs of identity: Passport, Drivers Licence, Birth Certificate, Work Permits/Visas.
Current and valid DBS Check
Original childcare certificate(s) of qualification and other relevant certificates
Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid Training certificate
Full UK working rights (full valid UK work visa)
Ofsted Registered or willing to register (not mandatory)
Clean driving licence valid in the UK (driving licence not mandatory)
