Everything you need to know about working for KiddyKare.

What happens when I sign up?

Once you register with KiddyKare, one of our friendly consultants will guide you through the application process, ensuring it’s quick and straightforward. During your interview and ID check, we’ll provide detailed information about the role and welcome any questions you might have. Forgotten something afterward? Just give us a call – we’re happy to help at any stage.

Can I choose where I work?

Absolutely – you’re welcome to share any nurseries or locations you’d prefer not to be assigned to, or where transport may be difficult. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.

However, it’s worth noting that restricting your options can limit the number of shifts available to you. So, we recommend reserving exclusions for nurseries or areas that genuinely don’t work for you. The more flexible you are, the more opportunities you’ll receive.

What should I wear?

You’re required to wear your KiddyKare T-shirt to each shift unless alternative attire is approved (e.g., during hot weather). This should be paired with plain black trousers and shoes. In colder seasons, you can wear a plain black cardigan, fleece, or jumper. Nurseries spend time outdoors year-round, so always check the forecast and dress appropriately.

What should I bring to each shift?

Please bring a valid form of ID and your DBS certificate to every shift. This ensures the nursery’s safety and security protocols are upheld.

When will I be paid?

The KiddyKare payroll works a week in arrears, which means you are paid the week after you provide KiddyKare with your timesheet and our payday is a Tuesday.
