Description
KiddyKare are looking for a Room-based Deputy Manager within the Hayes area. It is bright, modern and cheerful setting with just under 30 places. The nursery has access to the library nearby and often have story sessions there. There is a beautiful secure outdoor play area, where the children can play games and explore the garden.
 
With a salary of up to £29,000 and potential occupancy bonus (paid termly)
40 hours per week over 5 days.

Main Duties:
 
  • To work alongside the manager and deputise for her in her absence.
  • To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the manager in the organisation of a high-quality establishment for children from 2 to 5 years.  
  • To lead a team of professional workers and to always ensure good practice.
  • To assist with the planning and organisation of staffing schedules and holiday rotas' to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained in accordance with Local Authority guidelines and nursery procedures.
  • To assist with staff development and training.
  • To be flexible and work and assist other sister nurseries in the event of managerial absences to ensure the care and safety off all the children throughout the nurseries.

  • A full and relevant childcare Qualification of L3 and above
  • Experience of managing a team - i.e. as a room leader or third in charge for at least 2 years
  • 5 years Nursery experience
