Room Leader – Full-Time Position
Location: Sunningdale
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year (dependent on experience)

KiddyKare is looking for an experienced and motivated Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery team in Sunningdale.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a designated room, ensuring high standards of care and education

  • Support, mentor, and inspire room staff

  • Oversee planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS

  • Monitor children’s development and ensure accurate observations and assessments

  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment

  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers

  • Ensure safeguarding and nursery policies are consistently upheld

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (or above)

  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Previous experience working in an early years setting

  • Experience leading a room or supporting team members (desirable)

  • Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene (desirable but not essential)
