KiddyKare is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and welcoming nursery for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a childcare professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and early years education, while creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting children’s learning and development on a daily basis. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will help deliver engaging activities, ensure children’s wellbeing, and contribute to the smooth running of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s development across all areas
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development
  • Support daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and play activities
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain a positive nursery environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
