We are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team and ensure children receive the highest standards of care, safety, and early years education.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, support staff development, maintain high-quality learning environments, and build strong partnerships with parents and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare and education

  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements

  • Create engaging, stimulating experiences for children at every stage of development

  • Support staff training, supervision, and performance development

  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers

  • Promote the nursery locally and help maintain strong occupancy levels

  • Manage records, observations, and administrative duties

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

  • 2+ years’ experience in an early years setting (leadership experience desirable)

  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and early years legislation

  • Experience leading and developing a team

  • Ability to maintain at least a Good Ofsted rating

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
