KiddyKare is recruiting an experienced Nursery Manager for an exciting brand-new nursery opening near Watford. This is a rare opportunity to lead a setting from launch and shape an outstanding early years environment.

The Role

You will lead the nursery through setup, OFSTED registration, and day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance. You’ll recruit and develop a strong team and build positive relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursery team

  • Oversee daily operations, rotas, and occupancy

  • Ensure EYFS delivery and high-quality teaching

  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance

  • Prepare for OFSTED inspections and work towards “Outstanding”

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager

  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding

  • OFSTED inspection experience
