Your Role

Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities
-
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children

Observe, assess, and record children’s development accurately
-
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain excellent practice
-
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
-
Act as a key person for a group of children
Safeguarding Responsibilities

Promote and uphold a strong safeguarding culture within the nursery

Recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns

Follow child protection and online safety procedures

Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with GDPR

Work closely with senior staff to ensure children’s welfare is always prioritised
The ideal candidate
-
Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential)

Previous experience working in an early years setting
-
Strong understanding of the EYFS

Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
-
Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

A caring, professional, and positive approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
