The ideal candidate

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years

What you will be doing

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the smooth and efficient daily operation of the nursery.
  • Ensure all children benefit from engaging, stimulating experiences tailored to their individual age and developmental stage.
  • Foster positive, professional, and collaborative relationships within the staff team.
  • Provide guidance, supervision, training, and performance reviews to staff to maintain high standards of childcare practice.
  • Work alongside the Nursery Manager to identify staff development needs, implement training plans, and review the impact of completed training.
  • Contribute to achieving agreed occupancy and enrolment targets for the setting.
  • Promote clear and effective communication with children, colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Assist in managing and resolving complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring appropriate reporting to the Regional Manager.
