The ideal candidate

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to quality, safety, and child-centred care

What you will be doing

  • Uphold and promote high-quality standards across all areas of the nursery.
  • Guide and support playroom staff in carrying out their daily responsibilities effectively.
  • Organise and allocate staff appropriately to ensure consistent delivery of required standards within each room.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of the key person system, ensuring children are suitably assigned and supported.
  • Ensure all nursery practice and provision remain fully compliant with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Offer clear, professional, and constructive feedback to parents and carers regarding their child’s progress and wellbeing.
  • Actively promote the nursery to existing families and prospective clients to support growth and reputation.
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships within the staff team.
  • Encourage and ensure that staff foster welcoming, professional partnerships with parents and carers.
