KiddyKare are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and welcoming nursery for an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to take on a leadership role within a supportive and friendly team environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the day-to-day running of a nursery room, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and development for children aged 0–5 years. You will be responsible for planning engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, supporting and mentoring team members, and creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children in your care.

Applicants must have previous experience working within a nursery setting and a strong understanding of child development. Prior leadership or senior practitioner experience is desirable; however, confident and capable practitioners ready to step up into a Room Leader position will also be considered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting a small team of nursery practitioners
• Planning and delivering high-quality early years provision in line with EYFS
• Monitoring children’s progress and maintaining accurate records
• Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, health, and safety are maintained
