Are you an experienced and passionate Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a confident and motivated Room Leader to join our warm, welcoming nursery team and lead high-quality practice within one of our rooms.

Your Role

Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring outstanding care and education

Deliver and embed high-quality practice in line with the EYFS framework

Plan, implement, and oversee engaging, age-appropriate activities

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
-
Observe, assess, and track children’s development accurately
-
Act as a key person and support other key persons within the room
-
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
-
Support, mentor, and guide room staff to maintain excellent standards
-
Work closely with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement
-
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
Safeguarding Responsibilities

Promote and uphold a strong safeguarding culture within the nursery

Recognise, respond to, and report safeguarding concerns appropriately

Follow child protection and online safety procedures
-
Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR
-
Work in partnership with senior staff to ensure children’s welfare is always prioritised
The Ideal Candidate
-
Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential)
-
Previous experience in an early years setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role
-
Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
-
Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)

A caring, professional, and proactive approach

Confident leadership, communication, and team-building skills
