KiddyKare are currently recruiting for an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Nursery Practitioner to work in a Montessori Nursery in Pinner with a competitive salary from £26,000.

What we need from you:
•    A full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years is essential for this role.
•    A Montessori Diploma or experience is desirable.
•    Previous experience of working as a practitioner is essential. 
•    Being a positive role model to your team.
•    An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working.
•    Good ICT skills
 

Your duties as Deputy Room Leader:
•    Working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
•    Caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily.
•    Ensuring the children are happy, settled and content.
•    Observing, assessing, and planning for the children’s individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and create opportunities for children to progress.
•    Keeping up to date and informed of legislation in relation to early education and ensure that all paperwork is in keeping with the EYFS and Ofsted Requirements.
•    Becoming familiarised with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these.
•    Supporting to lead a team, encouraging and raising practice daily.
•    Delegating tasks to your team to ensure the smooth running of the room.
•    Sharing creative ideas and willingly involving your team in decision making for the classroom e.g., activities/planning
•    Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and forming secure relationships with the children.
 

We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential.
